Random Sass - August 31st

The 2020 VMA’s were last night and watching live from my computer, while eating dill pickle flavored Lays was not how I expected to spend my Sunday afternoon. However, I loved seeing Miley Cyrus perform and jump on a disco ball (took me back to her infamous Wrecking Ball music video). Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande won “Best Collaboration Award” for Rain on Me, while Charlotte-native, DaBaby performed and caused me to drop my chips and start dancing by myself in my room. Overall, I thought the show was entertaining, I mean it must have been because when the show ended I realized so did my family size bag of chips.

Carrigan Farms! Have you been? I find myself asking this when I’m around my friends. During the summer, the farm opens up their quarry to the public, so everyone can enjoy swimming. You can have private swim parties, take aquatic classes or do what I do and just bring a float, a speaker and a Jimmy Johns sub to enjoy when you need a break from doing absolutely nothing but relaxing in the water.

Now, don’t forget to make a reservation before making the drive to Mooresville, NC  and feel free to check out the link below for more details on what to bring, etc.

Well, there’s always a but and when the couple arrived to the surprise party and received congratulations from everyone, the women who got engaged to couldn’t help but complain about the way her fiancé proposed. Which brings me to “It was sweet, but...”

Complaining about how your fiancé popped the question has me thinking one thing... how the hell is this woman engaged and not being dumbed through text like she deserves. Let’s just imagine their future together shall we...
