A 15-year-old from Gwinnett County with a muscle disease that prevents him from playing real basketball, now has his own character in NBA 2K his favorite game.

William Floyd got his dream and wish, to play in the NBA, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Georgia teen was able to visit the NBA 2K headquarters in California and go through the full avatar creation process to be in the game.

Floyd says he's been playing the game for 5 years now and even has played virtually against some big name players, but never dreamed he'd actually be in it. We've all created players to resemble ourselves and then given them the 99 rating in all categories, but how cool would it be to actually have your real face and likeness in the game.

Anyone can use him as a player in Quick Game Mode for NBA 2K20 Floyd is a free agent. You can select him for any team you want. You can also use him in MyCareer and MyLeague rosters too.SO JEALOUS.

Fox 5 talked to him about the experience:

Floyd loves the game of basketball but can't physically play it because of a are genetic disorder that causes severe heart and muscle weakness. Make-A-Wish gave him a chance to be a virtual NBA star and I think that is absolutely amazing!!
