Georgia Ranks Near Top For Worst Drivers In The U.S.

If you drive on Georgia roads daily, you've experienced the stress and anger of people who seem like they never learned the proper way to use a vehicle. That's probably because Georgia drivers ranked among the worst in the U.S.

QuoteWizard, an online insurance comparison marketplace, recently conducted a study to find out which states had the worst drivers. They based the study on 5 categories: accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, citations and fatalities. While Maine, South Carolina, and Nebraska has the Top 3 worst, Georgia ranked in at 15th worst drivers in the U.S.

According to WSB 2, Fulton County ranked the worst for traffic fatalities in GA in 2017, followed by DeKalb County, Gwinnett County, Cobb County and Bibb County. Texting and speeding are the two biggest factors in traffic issues and fatalities, according to Highway traffic experts.
