The National Aquarium Released 3 Rehabilitated Sea Turtles Into The Wild

The Aquarium said on social media today: "Last week marked the release of our final rescue patients of the 2019 cold-stunning season, as we returned two Kemp’s ridleys and one green sea turtle back into the ocean following their successful rehabilitation.

Stilton, Mozzarella and Halloumi were given a proper (pandemic-friendly) send-off: In order to stay socially distant from the crowds of excited beachgoers that typically congregate around events like this, we teamed up with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources - Natural Resources Police's marine unit to perform this release from one of their boats!"
