L.A. Zoo Is Honoring Betty White At Their Annual Fundraising Event

The Los Angeles Zoo's Beastly Ball is coming back to being in person after it was held virtually for the past two years due to the pandemic.

The event will be taking place on June 4 and will honor Betty White's legacy as she served as a trustee for over 50 years for the L.A. Zoo and was known to be an animal advocate. There will be a silent auction for items that were donated and signed by White as well as an award presented in her name called the Betty White Conservation Hero Award.

The fundraising event typically brings in $1.3 million and the money goes towards the vital conservation efforts at the L.A. Zoo and more. Go to ABC 7 for more.
