Netflix has finally dropped the first images of its Cowboy Bebop live-action adaptation series, set to release November 19th.
John Cho will star as our favorite space bounty hunter, Spike Spiegel, with Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. The pictures confirm a wonderfully accurate aesthetic that really matches the original series, whether it be their ship or Spike's classic blue and yellow outfit.
Cowboy Bebop was for a lot of us the first anime we were introduced to in the early 2000s. I remember staying up late to turn on Toonami to watch the kung-fu, gunslinging action lit up by its upbeat jazz soundtrack, so I can't wait to see how this series turns out.
