Recently there have been rumors floating around that Harry Styles was offered to play the role as the next James Bond, and he's finally addressed them.
Ever since it was announcement that No Time To Die would be Daniel Craig's final performance as 007, fans have been speculating, debating and placing their bets on who would be the next candidate to carry the torch forward as the iconic blockbuster super-spy. Some of the fan favorites have been actors like Luke Evans, Richard Madden, and even Henry Cavill, but Harry Styles has been recently thrown into the mix with growing speculation.
Rumors started to spread that the 26-year-old singer and actor had "high-level meetings" with big movie bosses, and that he was one of the two actors in consideration. However, Styles' representative recently reported that these rumors "weren't remotely true."
While on Hits Radio, when asked about his interest in the role, Styles finally made a comment:
"I mean, who wouldn’t [play Bond]? I grew up watching those. You know, I loved him when I was a kid. So I think it’s kind of everyone’s dream a little bit, right?"
So, if Harry was offered the role, do you think he would make a great Bond? Personally, I think he's too young for the role, but he's definitely shown his acting chops in the academy award winning film, Dunkirk, so it could work!
Here is the latest trailer for the final installment of Daniel Craig's Bond, No Time To Die, expected to release in 2021.
