As crazy as things are out there, memes are now slowly becoming national holidays. Yesterday, April 30th, *NSYNC celebrated May 1st Eve by officially changing the title of its throwback hit "It's Gonna Be Me" to "It's Gonna Be May" on all streaming services.
The song has been a huge hit since it dropped in 2000, but the meme was born around 2012, joking about how Justin Timberlake pronounces "me" to sound like "may." Since then, we always get a spike in "It's Gonna Be May" memes every April 30th, and even members of the band have gone in on the joke on social media.
