Since its final episode in 2004, we haven't had a full reunion with all of the six core members of the super-hit sitcom Friends. And for the longest time I thought that reunion would never come, until today.
Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and Monica will all be reuniting to make a one-off special of Friends to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The special will be available to stream on HBO Max, which will launch in May. It'll be an "unscripted" special, where the cast members will have a panel-like Q&A with each other. Sources from the Hollywood Reporter tell that each member will be getting paid a spankin' $2.5 million to $3 million for the special. The entire library of Friends will be available on HBO Max's launch as well.
I use to watch friends as a kid with my older sister all the time. But when I revisited the show while in college, it quickly became one of my favorite sitcoms. It's relatable characters and stories make the series a timeless classic, and I'm really exited to have something to binge again.
