Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Aerosmith, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are all lined up to perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards later this month.
It's 2020, and awards shows are still boring... but I think the Grammys will always stand out and thrive because of their consistently incredible live performances. It's one of the main reasons I love watching them in the first place. Last year Alicia Keys hosted the show while performing covers of her favorite songs -- Miley Cyrus, Kacey Musgraves, and Katy Perry joined together to do a tribute performance to Dolly Parton... WITH Dolly Parton -- and Post Malone combined forces with Red Hot Chilie Peppers for an incredible performance as well.
This year, we know Alicia Keys will be back to host again, and with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani on the list, I'm hoping that we'll get just as many collaborations this year as we did the last. Seriously, there's nothing cooler than watching the best artists in the world trade genres and perform together. When it's done right, the Grammys feels like a celebration of music rather than a day when we find out who won whatever award for that year, and that's what I'm crossing my fingers for this month.
The Grammy's air Sunday, January 26th at 8:00 PM EST.
