Ricky Gervais was back to host the 77th Golden Globes. It was his fifth time now hosting the awards show, and although he's notorious for his ruthless celebrity-roasting bits, the comedian delivered a monologue that left the super-star actors and icons filled audience split between either upset faces or gut busting laughs.
Personally I thought the monologue was hilarious, even as it gets more brutal, I think anything can be funny as long as it's true. It only gets deep towards the very end, and it's mainly one quote that may be the reason why he'll probably never be invited back to host the Golden Globes again...
