Marvel has finally put out the long anticipated trailer for Black Widow, their latest installment to their superhero franchise since Avengers: Endgame.
With the Infinity Saga officially finished, fans have been breaking out new film theories everyday, attempting to guess what this cinematic universe will set up next in the upcoming years. Although Marvel's plans have been kept well under wraps, Black Widow will officially be our peak through the keyhole of what epic story they're ready to tell us next.
I had no idea what to expect before watching this trailer, and I honestly wasn't that eager to get in line to see it at first. But after watching it, I can definitely say that I'll be pre-ordering those tickets as soon as they come out. The action looks energetic and gritty, the music is finally memorable compared to the forgettable, background hero music in previous films, and we're introduced to new, interesting characters that may show up in future films. It's a fresh step back from the expansive galaxy-wide war ending we had in the last phase, and I can't wait to see it!
Black Widow is set to release in theaters May 1st, 2020.
