Officer Matthew Pils – Freedom Division

Officer Matthew Pils’ quick thinking and actions led to the arrest of a trio of felony larceny suspects. Officer Pils stopped a U-Haul that was leaving a construction site with unsecured lumber and cabinets open in the back. The construction site had recently reported at least three prior reports of larceny. Pils questioned the three suspects in the U-Haul who admitted to stealing the lumber and cabinets. The suspects who were taken into custody are facing more than 200 combined similar charges from thefts all over Charlotte. Find out how you can be the difference in your community.
