BTS dropped a new Japanese single "Stay Gold" on Friday (June 19) and it immediately hit No. 1 on iTunes around the world. The previously unreleased ballad is a bonus track for the Japanese edition of their recent Map of the Soul: 7 album.

Not only that, but BTS is breaking records all throughout the industry, garnering attention from awards shows like the Billboard Music Awards and the Grammys, becoming the only Korean artist to be included in Rolling Stone's yearly list of best albums, and continuously trending on social media all over the world.

The group recently celebrated their 7th anniversary together in a yearly special called Festa.

Jimin, one of the lead vocalists of the group, said of their forthcoming album "We’re going to keep being here like this, so all you have to do is enjoy it so that you can smile and be happy, as you do now and have in the past. I hope that it will be like that and you won’t go through any hard times. We’re going to all be here together so that can happen. Thank you so much."

He added that they've all been hard at work on the new project.

I can't wait!!
