This is a lot.
Kanye West was TMZ's guest on TMZ Live Tuesday (May 1), and ended up fessing up to some things that affected a lot of his behavior throughout 2016.
If you can remember, that was the year West was sent to the hospital multiple times, even cutting his The Life of Pablo tour short. The rapper admitted during the show that he had liposuction that year and doctors had put him on medication that dictated a lot of his erratic behavior.
He says the medication was a form of opioids, and that the surgery was done out of fear of being called fat.
He also caught the attention of TMZ host and senior producer Van Lathan after he stood up to address the newsroom as a whole.
Van responded with some stark criticism.
Especially when it came to a part of the TMZ Live conversation where 'Ye said, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice."
How are you feeling about all this? Has Kanye lost it?
