The "Impossible Whopper" Set To Make Its Debut Nationwide Next Week!

Okay meatless burger fans, Burger King plans to roll out its “Impossible Whopper” next week at all of its 7,200 U.S. locations next week! On April 1st of this year, the burger franchise began testing its meatless burger at its St. Louis restaurants, and now its ready to go “prime time!”

Those St. Louis restaurants saw foot traffic increase by 18.5% while foot traffic decreased by 1.75% to its other restaurants. It appears that customers really enjoyed the “Impossible Whopper” so Burger King is ready to test it nationwide.

The burger is made of water, soy protein, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and the company’s secret ingredient, leghemoglobin! The burger is not so much more of a healthier option as it is an environmentally conscious replacement for beef. It will retail for $5.59. Try it out and let us know what you think!
