Remember the days before Shazam? You had to try and quickly memorize a few lyrics and search around to find the name of the song! Now with Shazam, just open the app when you hear a song you want and, boom, you’ve got the name of the song!
Well Shazam has now gone one step further with its latest update. Shazam can now recognize internal audio from your phone without relying on the external microphone! So if you have your earphones on while listening to a song on an app, you don’t need to remove them when using Shazam. Just open the app, hit the pop-up button, and get the song’s name without removing the earphones.
You can also use the floating pop-up button embedded in an app such as Instagram to get the song’s name. So whether you use the main Shazam app or the floating pop-up button in an app that you are listening music from, you don’t have to remove your earphones anymore. Neat huh?
