Hmmmmmm...really? Well according to researchers from the Bern University of Arts in Switzerland, cheese that is exposed to music is suppose to taste better than regularly produced cheese. Who knew!
Cheesemaker Beat Wampfler and the Bern researchers exposed cheese to various forms of music for six months, 24 hours of the day to see if the music had an effect on the cheese. Well lo and behold, it did! Cheese was exposed to Mozart, hip hop, and rock music.
The cheese exposed to classical music had a milder flavor than the others. Cheese exposed to hip hop had the stronger flavor. Judge, chef, and Swiss TV boss, Benjamin Luzuy, told Reuters News, “The differences were very clear, in terms of texture, taste, and appearance.” Ok I guess that’s good enough for me!
