Miranda Lambert loves animals and she put some money towards it to prove it! The Palestine Humane Society, or BARC, received a $1,000 grant from the Grammy Award winning country star’s pet-rescue operation, “MuttNation.”
Rosana Mosley-Arthus, a volunteer at BARC, applied for the grant after seeing a post about it on MuttNation’s Facebook page. Recently, Mosley-Arthus found out she was one of the three volunteer pet organizations to receive a grant! The money will go towards spaying and neutering and some kennel replacements.
Lambert was pleasantly surprised by the amount a responses her organization received and challenged other individuals to step up and volunteer at their own local pet rescue organizations. “Nothing makes me happier than to see people actively participate in making a positive difference at their local level,” the singer said. Congratulationsto BARC and thank you Miranda for making a difference!
