Another awards show has decided to move forward with their plans!
New York governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday (June 29th) that the 2020 MTV VMA's will continue as planned on August 30th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with "limited to no audience".
MTV always had plans to hold the awards show this Summer, telling Variety that they were "exploring with government officials, the medical community and key stakeholders on how to safely hold the 2020 VMAs at Barclays Center on August 30th."
Since the announcement, music fans have been reacting on social media.
