Here Are 10 Epic Things Going Down In Charlotte This Weekend

It's another weekend in the CLT! 

Wanna know some fun things going on this weekend in and around the city? Same. So I made a little list to help you out!


1. Big K.R.I.T. at The Underground

This should be LITTTT. Big K.R.I.T. was just in Raleigh last weekend with Ty Dolla $ign, but is making his way through Charlotte Friday night. Cyhi Da Prince will be joining him. Are you going?? It's already sold out...

 

2. Toast the Moon Bar Crawl in South End 

This sounds like way too much fun to pass up. This crawl has 6 stops on this South End route, including Gin Mill, Slate and Tavern on the Tracks, in honor of Saturday’s Blue Moon. Starts at 7 pm on Friday!

 

3. Adult Game Night at Coco and the Director

Play games like Heads Up, Scrabble, Jumbo Jenga, Connect 4, Candyland, Battleship and Yahtzee. 18+ only. 7-9 p.m. This is a free event! Friday night. 

 

4. Easter Egg 400 at NASCAR Hall of Fame

Fun for the whole fam! And Nascar fans! Join Champ the Cheetah and the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt, face painting, a magic show and more. 9:30 am on Saturday. $12-$23.

 

5. Spring Fling at Freedom Park

More family fun! There's gonna be an egg hunt, music, face painting, bounce houses, vendors and food at the first annual Spring Fling in Freedom Park on Saturday. Be some of the first to experience it! 1-6 p.m. And it's free!

6. Friends and Beerfest: Burgers, Brews and Buds at Legion Brewing

This one's for the adults. Leave the kids at home, because the brewery’s parking lot will be filled with live music, food, drink and plenty of vendors to shop. 2-8 p.m and free to enter!

 

7. Charlotte Weenie Walk at Freedom Park

UM.... YES. "All breeds and ages of weenie dogs are welcome. After the walk, meet up at OMB for playtime and German food. They’ll also have a raffle benefitting a local animal shelter." 3-6 pm on Saturday, and free!!

8. Kevin Hart: The Irresponsible Tour at Spectrum Center

Aaaaahhh! Love this guy! See Kevin Hart Saturday night at the Spectrum Center on his Irresponsible Tour. He even sent a little message. 7 p.m.

 

9. My Struggle Matters March at the Latin American Coalition

"Join us for the 1st annual walk in commemoration of all the work that Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez have done in defense of immigrants, workers, and women!" the Facebook event reads. 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. It's completely free!

10. Bring Your Peeps Easter Brunch at Draught Charlotte

I mostly added this because of the name... Enjoy brunch and drink specials like $2 mimosas and $5 Bloody Marys. 10 am on Sunday!!
