Miami-Dade Tourism Group Drafts Plan To Reopen Popular Spots

Too early or right on time?

According to NBC 6, Miami tourism group leaders and Mayor Carlos Gimenez have been brainstorming plans to reopen popular tourism spots in Miami-Dade. They say air traffic is down 90% at Miami International Airport, and they consider that to be a problem that needs to be fixed right away.

Mayor Gimenez will reportedly present the drafted plan to the Governor on Friday (April 24).

NBC 6 reports, "The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau produced a new glitzy promo video showing off the Florida Everglades, South Florida beaches and lots of smiling faces with the message that COVID-19 can’t stop Miami from always shining."
