Hopefully this awesome, feel-good story will brighten your day like it did ours. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and Scott Clark Toyota surprised a local woman with a brand new car after being robbed at gunpoint.
The CMPD Emergency Needs fund was created in 2016 to help people in need like Hope McKinney.
"She went through a traumatic experience and to see her face, to see the tears of joy, it just made all this so so worth it," said Scott Clark, Scott Clark Auto Group Owner.
McKinney said she's thankful and CMPD and Scott Clark Auto Group helped her from further falling. Check out the act of kindness here:
